Um eine Reality Show zu drehen verschlägt es eine kleine Filmcrew in einen abgelegenen kleinen Ort in North Dakota. Schon bald gerät der Dreh außer Kontrolle und nichts scheint so zu sein, wie vor der Reise angenommen wurde. Als die Crew auch noch von einem geheimnisvollen, maskierten Killer auf Schritt und Tritt verfolgt und gefilmt wird, entwickelt sich der Ausflug zu einem wahren Albtraum. Plötzlich sind auch die Protagonisten hinter der Kamera die Hauptdarsteller der ganz eigenen Reality Show. Einer nach dem anderen wird von dem eiskalten Killer erbarmungslos vor der Kamera niedergemetzelt.
