Bei seiner Ankunft in Moskau, trifft der Tschetschenien-Veteran Danila (Sergei Bodrov Jr.) Konstantin, einen alten Freund. Der erzählt ihm von seinem Zwillingsbruder, der in den USA gezwungen wurde, mit einem US-Eishockey-Team einen Knebel Vertrag zu unterzeichnen. Bald nach diesem Treffen entdeckt Danila das Konstantin Tod ist. Danila beschließt dessen Tod zu rächen. Er reist in die USA nach Chicago, in Amerika bekommt er es mit schwarzen Gangstern, und dem Sicherheitsdienst des russischen Bankier Belkin zu tun. Er trifft seinen Bruder Victor, der auch in die USA flog, um seinen Bruder zu helfen.
