Joshwa is an Atlanta-based filmmaker who was born in southwestern Ohio and raised all over the tropics. To sum up a rather long story: his first job was teaching art inside of a lighthouse, he pursued medicine at the University of Florida before earning a degree in English Literature, he dabbled in the saxophone, and he's never won a game of miniature golf. After graduating with the 30th MFA production class from Florida State's Film Conservatory, he now works on film -- primarily in post. He is best known for his work on: Landless (2019), A Separation (2019), and The Bronsteadë Twins (2020). At home, Joshwa continues to follow his other passion of writing for the screen. He's also a cat dad. Her name is Beans.
