La Maca é uma prisão auto-governada pelos reclusos que fica no meio de uma floresta em Abidjan, Costa do Marfim. Um jovem que é enviado para lá é nomeado, pelo recluso-chefe, como Contador de Histórias. É assim encarregue de contar uma história que tem de durar até ao amanhecer, desconhecendo que, se chegar ao fim, morrerá. Um filme de Philippe Lacôte ("Run"), um ex-jornalista de rádio da Costa do Marfim tornado realizador de documentários, séries e longas de ficção. Ganhou o prémio Amplify Voices no Festival de Toronto em 2020.
